/takewage
« on: October 03, 2012, 01:09:03 pm »
Simple command taking someone's service wage for example for breaking a service rule.

Usage:
/takewage [ID] [number of paydays]

Eg. "/takewage 10 8" means that person with ID 10 will not be paid for the next 8 paydays.

My suggestion is to allow only the highest ranks in certain services to use this command. Also, a command such as /returnwage would be handy in case someone accidentaly performs this action on the wrong person.

The money would stay in PD bank, where it belongs and where wages are paid from :)

Working without pay seems a bit odd, not sure how it's done abroad but I doubt that's legal where I live. /suspend or just kicking them for a few days sounds more rp to me.

ya, it's against the law to have some work and not pay them. Atlease in the us it is. That's why we have a labour board for shit like this.

I could understand being fined, suspended or fired. But yes, you can't take all of someone's pay and expect them to work. You'd be sued.

This is not real life, guys.  About which law are you talking? Didn't know we had work codex on RRP. It's not a big deal if you loose one or two wages, it's not like money is required to survive on this server. It works compeletly different.

No, it's not real life. It's role play, which is simulated real life. You can just as easily suspend someone for the alotted time. /takewage is unnecessary.

What if it was a minor offence and I don't want to punish someone with suspension? The main point of this suggestion when it crossed my mind was punishing those, who tend to come on duty for paydays but also actually play often and contribute to the service.

And FYI, roleplay was not invented as a real life simulator. Roleplaying in SAMP is not even close to simulating real life, not to mention the early roleplay systems based mostly on fantasy realms.
