/ajail requires a reason
« on: July 16, 2012, 09:37:28 pm »
It should be that the reason behind ajail is optional, however it is mandatory to add a reason when ajailing at the moment.

Nah my last ajail was 2 weeks ago.

This community has been amazing and I'll never forget what I did during my early teen years, RPing with a bunch of awesome people, thank you all.

we shouldn't have to explain to other people why we ajailed someone, people can see the reason when they get a /warn

it may help players with their appeal screen shots in situations where there is a delay in warn before the ajail or main chat is being spammed.

What if you want to ajail someone yet don't feel the need to warn them? E.G. New players? Warning new levels ones for a first offence is a bit mean :P

I am just saying that despite the command saying the reason is optional, it currently is mandatory to add a reason.
If Redgie wants to make it mandatory, he removes the (optional) for the reason. If he wants to keep it the way it was before, he should make adding a reason optional.
No need to discuss anything, it worked this way for a long time.
