DCP Compatibility Issues - Read Here Before Using The DCP
« on: August 29, 2009, 09:31:05 am »
The DCP in it's current state uses a combination of HTML, CSS, PHP and Javascript. Therefore does contain some issues with certain setups. For example, Internet Explorer users are more than likely to experience bad formatting when using the DCP. Internet Explorer is a horrific browser and is not reccomended to any users of this site. Accordingly RRP reccomends the use of Opera web browser.

Opera was used in the development of the site, and is used by myself, therefore I can guarentee no visual issues between Opera and the DCP. You can download Opera at http://www.opera.com/download/

Please also note that the Opera BETA is not the same as the current release of Opera, the current release is reccomended to all users.

Google Chrome has also been confirmed to work fine with the DCP.
The latest version of Mozilla Firefox has been confirmed to work with the DCP.

Lol, good I have opera. Opera really rocks. I mean it has a "modern axpect" and it's preatty good, seeing that every PC programmer is suggesting it. (( I don't wanna say: "If Redgie has it it's so uber", but I know IRL people that recommand it. ))

P.S. You all should use it.

The DCP works (it just looks the same; I haven't donated yet so I can't say anything about its functionality) for me in Safari 4.0.4 like it does on Firefox and Opera. It's not bad at all in Internet Explorer 8 as well, excepting the fact I cannot see that grey background behind my stats and it does not fit very well on the screen.
